The application of the SEE in my courses was for both, lecturer and student, an advantage: immediate feedback, readable answers to examination questions, faster corrections as well as many organizational reliefs.

From my point of view, the elearning domain is one of the most professional departments at the University Klagenfurt. The Safe-Exam-Environment enables the writing of online exams in a good surrounding with excellent consulting and support through elearning tutors.

My experience is: Once online exams, always online exams. It is an immense relief for myself as a lecturer (no painful decoding of “hieroglyphs”, easier and (much!) faster grading of exams) und also the feedback of students is consistently positive. The execution of an online exam with the Secure-Exam-Environment is an enormous support and load removal. In this manner, we tested a large number of students and could give them within a few hours their exam results as well as the possibility to inspect their examination records. This is especially important for a course that is part of the study entry phase with a lot of attendance. And the support by the department of elearning is great. It is not only restricted to the “technical execution”, but it is an enormous relief during the examination supervision.

The automatic grading and the possibility to immediately inspect the examination records, as soon as the test is closed, is an enormous workload relief and massive gain in time, for both, lecturers and students.
